Lance Gibson strung up a super clean 6-diamond traditional pocket in a brand new Brine Clutch Elite, sent the photos in, and even referred to it as a "Connor Pocket" because he used a tear drop top string. I am honored that anyone would name their traditional work after me, but when a stringer of Lance's quality does it? It's a pure compliment!

Towards the end of the college season, work picked up to the point that I couldn't string as much as I'd like to, but now that things are slowing down just a little bit, I've found the time to dial just a couple of sticks... here's a look at some of the heads I've been stringing.

Well, it seems as if traveling across the country on the open road is coming to fruition; all thanks to everyone! If you’ve kept up a little bit on my stringing tour, you’ll know that I had to fly around this spring to all the locations where I held my stringing workshops, due to not being able to leave my 9 to 5 just yet!

My Pita

Hey all,
So this is my second I've strung, the first was quite horrible and I need the head it was on so I removed it soon after a couple months ago. This one is here to stay and I want to make it into a good enough pocket to use during offseason practice. I spent about 3 hours on this one and luckily I only have a few problems with it. 1. The amount of whip it has; too much for my taste, about a 6-7/10. 2. It doesn't catch the ball all that well, it's fairly deep but not illegal, so it might be that its not broken in enough. 3. I'm not sure if this is common for traditional, but as I shoot or pass hard, occasionally the entire pocket goes forward towards the front of the head, like when you push in mesh before you face off.

All comments and criticism are welcome, please be brutally honest.

Pita Pocket Trouble

I strung up a pita pocket in one of my lacrosse heads a few weeks ago and its pretty well broken in, the trouble I'm facing is when I cradle one-handed the ball goes up to the middle of the head and I want it to sit at the bottom. Any advice for making this happen? Also I want to try and replicate Wells Stanwick's pita pocket because I've seen pictures of him in games and the ball shifts way up when he shoots and way down when hes cradling one-hand. If anyone knows how his stick is strung I would appreciate it if you could give me a few pointers. thanks
